I heard The Fab Faux on the Howard Stern show this morning and couldn’t believe my ears. These are some of the best studio musicians in the world. The Fab Faux plays later complex Beatles songs like “I Am the Walrus” and “Strawberry Fields Forever”. There were eleven musicians in the studio, yet they manage to sound like a full orchestra. I had to wait in my car before getting my coffee and hear the end of their set. They’re playing Webster Hall in New York this upcoming Sunday and Monday, so be sure to check them out if you have a chance.
